This box is simply stunning. A once in a lifetime box with amazing green and golden brown tones. It even has a small amount of Kauri gum in the top right hand corner.

It is believed that the green colour is the result of the fallen Kauri tree absorbing oil from the Tea tree over many thousands of years. It is not knowen if the Tea tree is buried with the Kauri or growing above.

The Timber in this box is full of oil and resin making it surprisingly heavy.

The box measures approximately 27.5 x 17.5cm and is 9.5cm tall at the highest point of the lid. It has two levels inside with the bottom level having three compartments.

It is lined in burgandy red.

Price is plus postage for buyers outside of New Zealand.
